SIRS (Serious Incident Response Scheme)

Aged care + NDIS regimes for notification of serious incidents.

Aged care SIRS (since 2021, continued under the Aged Care Act 2024) requires notification of 8 reportable incident types within 24 hours for Priority 1. NDIS has a parallel reportable-incident scheme also requiring 24-hour notification for serious matters.
